Welcome to Trinity Church Mice!

What is Trinity Church Mice?

Trinity Church Mice is run by Christians on behalf of Holy Trinity Church, Bembridge.

We give a warm welcome to people of any denomination or none at all.

Our aim is to:

  • Give parents and child-carers a place to come and relax

  • Enable you to chat and make new friends while the children play

  • To provide an opportunity to get to know ourselves and God

What happens at Trinity Church Mice?

At Trinity Church Mice we enjoy playing with lovely toys, singing songs, listening to stories, getting messy with crafty activities, and lots of fresh air out in our grassy garden, whatever the weather. Wellies may be needed!

We celebrate Christmas and Easter with special activities. Each weekly session is brought to a close as the Church mice gather in Holy Trinity Church. We hunt for the mice who are hiding in the church and then settle down on a kneeler with a jingly bell and shaky egg to enjoy toddler friendly praise and gentle prayers.

During the session, drinks are provided for parents and carers, and healthy snacks are provided for the children.

Things you need to know and do –

You are responsible for your child/children at all times during the session, both inside and outside. For safety, we have a 1:3 ratio rule, for visiting adult to visiting children. We just ask for a donation of £1 per adult and £1 per child, per session, thank you.

It is helpful if you register and your child as soon as you arrive so that in the event of a need to evacuate the building, we will be able to account for you all being present. If you would like to come regularly to Church Mice, please complete a Registration form to enable us to contact you about events and celebrate your child’s birthday with a card and gift. We will only use your contact details for these purposes.

Places are limited at Trinity Church Mice to ensure we all stay safe and have a happy time. Please let us know if you no longer wish to join us on a Wednesday so that we can offer your place to another child.

Our Mousehole calendar is published at the start of each term and tells you the themes for each week.
