Whatever feels right for you is a great first step!

Our next Alpha Course will begin on 29th September 2022 at 19:00 (plus a Saturday morning TBA)
The Alpha Course is an opportunity to explore Christian faith in a relaxed, thought-provoking environment. The course takes place in The Cloisters and runs over ten evenings and a Saturday morning
Every session starts at 19.00 with a delicious supper followed by a short talk. There is then time to ask questions and discuss. Some members of the group will love to participate and others will prefer to listen and reflect. Whatever your style, we want you to feel relaxed and comfortable
- Is there more to life than this?
- Who is Jesus – our ability to know God?
- Why did Jesus die – the greatest solution to the greatest problem?
- How can I be sure of my faith?
- Why and how should I read the Bible?
- Why and how should I pray?
- God in our lives – How does God guide us and heal us?
- What about suffering and evil and what we can do?
- What about the Church – broken or glorious?
Saturday Morning: Who is the Holy Spirit & what does it mean to be filled with the presence of God?
We usually run two Alpha courses each year

We welcome families and children to all our services and have a range of children’s activities happening on a Sunday morning during our 10:30am service
We have a play area at the back of church with books and toys. Our Children’s Club team also run activities linked to the theme of the church service, either at the back of church or in The Cloisters, our church hall, which is next door. The children always start off in church, with the congregation. We welcome children of all ages, but if your little one is under three, we would ask that they are accompanied by a responsible adult
We currently have a mixed age group but hope, as our numbers grow, to break out into smaller age-specific groups
Rock Solid is a well-established and popular youth group which started in the 1990s. Aimed at young people aged 9-12 years old, it runs in school term time on a Wednesday evening 18.30 – 19.45pm. The sessions include organised games, fun activities and feature a Bible-based “thought for the day”
Rock Solid usually meets at Bembridge Methodist Church and also makes use of local facilities e.g. Steyne Park for ball games, Tackt-Isle Adventures for water sports and Ryde Superbowl for ten pin bowling
The congregation at Holy Trinity Bembridge enjoy a broad range of music, from traditional to contemporary. We are always looking for people who sing or play an instrument and would like to support our worship. You might like to join our traditional choir, orchestral band or contemporary worship band
If you would like to explore any of these possibilities please contact our Music Director, Jurgita (choir and orchestral band) firstname.lastname@example.org or Margaret (contemporary worship band) email@example.com

If you are only just starting to get to grips with Christianity or you’re new to Holy Trinity Bembridge, then the conversation about giving money to church can wait
For now, please enjoy being part of our community and finding out what we’re about as a church. It’s great to have you with us
However, if you do wish to be a partner with us in growing the kingdom of God then regular giving is a really important part of every Christian’s discipleship for three reasons:
- Jesus said, “where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” Matthew 6:21. In other words, we give money to the things we love and we love the things we give money to
- Generous and joyful giving is an appropriate and telling response to the love of God in our life. One place the Bible talks about this is Corinthians 8:1-15
- As a church, part of who we are, is to be a people who want to reach out with God’s love to others that they may know God too. All our ministries point towards this aim. Every ministry in our church needs money to run, which means we rely on our people for everything we do

Regular Giving Via Envelopes
Once you have made provision for your loved ones, you have the opportunity to make a lasting gift to God, by leaving a legacy to His church. Leaving a gift in your Will to Holy Trinity Bembridge is one of the most valuable and lasting ways you can continue to support the mission and ministry in our community
A gift can be an expression of gratitude and thanksgiving towards God, and can help keep our ministry alive and help transform its future
No matter how large or small, each gift can make a significant impact on our mission and ministry
If you have any questions about giving, please contact the Vicar, Steve Daughtery email@example.com, 01983 872436
