A warm welcome awaits you at Holy Trinity Bembridge

We want our times together to challenge our minds, inspire our hearts, build friendships and remind us that we are part of something bigger that can make a lasting difference

Baptisms and Thanksgivings

Baptism is a sign of becoming part of the church and so both Baptisms and Thanksgivings take place during our Sunday morning services. It signals the start of an amazing journey of faith and is a special day for friends and family
Over the years to come, this journey of faith is something you’ll share together with your child by
  • being there to talk through the bigger questions in life – questions about hope, faith and love
  • helping them learn more about their Christian faith, through church and in other ways
  • praying for them during the ups and downs of their faith journey
  • showing them, in practical ways, how to make good choices in life
As an alternative to Baptism, we also offer a simple Thanksgiving service for your child. This service has the flexibility for vows and prayers to be crafted to accommodate your own journey of faith

Churches are special and unique places to get married in – the prayers, promises and the whole service of celebration become part of marriage, on the day itself, and beyond

If someone close to you has just died then please accept our sincere condolences. This will be a very painful and difficult time for you so please contact us if we can help in any way

It is possible for a Church of England service to be held in a church, in a churchyard, by a graveside, or at a crematorium.  Our message is always one of hope. Although there is sadness because someone you know and love has died, in every Church of England funeral, there is also a message of hope in life after death

Each person is unique – in personality and in life experience. We are here to support you as you give thanks for the person you knew and loved, in a way that feels appropriate and gives comfort

From the moment you are in touch with us, throughout the funeral service, and for as long as you need us afterwards, we are here for you
May you receive a sense of God’s loving presence with you at this time
