Hi, I’m Rev. Steve Daughtery, the Vicar here. I’m so glad you’ve found your way to this page.

Our website is full of information about who we are and how you can connect with us—whether online or in person. More than anything, I hope you’ll get a sense that you truly belong here.

We believe that experiencing God’s love changes everything—how we live, how we care for others, how we see ourselves, and how we treat the world. Guided by God’s Spirit and Word, we want to lead lives that reflect His love in a world that deeply needs it.

Everyone is welcome—whatever your background, race, gender, or sexuality. We’re here to help people grow in faith, find a real relationship with God, and become more like Jesus (even though we’re all still learning—including the Vicar!).

Planning your Visit

Welcome to Holy Trinity Bembridge!

The following information is specifically for those planning a visit, so that you know, beforehand, what to expect on a Sunday morning.

Where and When

8.00am

We meet at St Lukes Chapel for a quiet and traditional “said” service using the Book of Common Prayer.

10.30am

We meet at Holy Trinity Church for a more relaxed and modern language service using Common Worship with a mixture of traditional hymns and contemporary worship songs.

For your first visit, we recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early to ensure you are able to park nearby and find somewhere to sit before the service begins. When you arrive, you should be greeted by someone on our Welcome Team who will be wearing a Welcome lanyard.

The church is accessible to people with disabilities with a disabled access toilet, a Loop System and large print service sheets available. Please just ask one of the welcome team upon arrival if you need any help.

We serve tea, coffee and biscuits after the 10.30am service in the Cloisters. It is a great way to meet people and to find out more about us. You would be very welcome to join us.

What about my children?

Children’s Club, our Sunday School is available for children of 10 years and under every Sunday at our 10.30am service. Activities vary depending on the age but always include a friendly welcome, bible stories, music & craft.
