Funerals

If someone close to you has died, please accept our deepest condolences. We know this is a painful and difficult time, and we want you to know that you are not alone. If we can support you in any way, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
A Church of England funeral can take place in a variety of settings—in church, at a graveside, in a churchyard, or at a crematorium. Whatever the setting, the message at the heart of the service is one of comfort and hope. While we mourn the loss of someone we love, we also look to the promise of life beyond death.
Every person is unique, and we will work with you to shape a funeral that reflects the life, personality, and values of your loved one. From the moment you contact us, through the planning and service itself, and in the days and weeks afterwards, we are here to walk alongside you with care, compassion, and prayerful support.
Our hope is that you will experience something of God’s loving presence as we remember and give thanks for the life of your loved one.
